Typically, there is an “acute phase” of care. This will be more frequent and directed care to the main issue/problem. The goal of this phase is to reduce your pain and restore the function you once had - can take a few weeks to a few months depending on your body and the injury we are facing. Dr. Inman is working to get you to the “maintenance phase” of care as quickly as possible. This phase is individualized to each person as well. Some patients like a maintenance frequency of once a week, others maybe once a year! (Dr. Inman doesn’t recommend it, but if it works for your body then he is happy). The most common frequency for the maintenance phase is coming for treatment once a month. Lastly but certainly not least, each and every visit is specific to what you are dealing with. Let doc know anything and everything going on at each visit, no matter how big or small you may think it is, it matters to Dr. Inman and he will do everything in his power to help.

The risk of stroke lies within the condition itself, not the treatment rendered. This brings us back to the importance of going to a well trained, licensed professional (of any kind, not just chiropractor) to limit the chances of serious injury or harm to your body.

The chiropractic adjustment can potentially be slightly uncomfortable or elicit mild pain. However, this is short lived and not damaging.
